Over the past while, I’ve been noticing a design trend that’s been popping up all over my Pinterest and in magazines, that is breakfast nooks! What’s so great about a breakfast nook you wonder? Well first of all it’s a prefect place to start your day, ideally small and cozy, located near a window, its the perfect place to have your morning coffee or read the paper. They’re also great for kids doing homework while you’re cooking dinner, or for a casual late night snack or board games with the kids; breakfast nooks provide lots of function.
Usually located next to or on the side of the kitchen, breakfast nooks can come in a variety of combinations, such as banquettes, built-in booths, chairs, benches, with round tables, square tables, large tables,or small tables, the options are endless.
